Puppy Love

Meaning: To be in love with someone when you are very young, often used to say that someone is too young to really have the ability to love someone romantically.
How to use in a sentence: When dad found out I had a girl friend he told me that any girl friend you have when you are only six years old is just puppy love.  I didn't think he was being very nice to say that to me.
