 Add your picture to this website!!

 If you are interested in adding your picture to this website, follow the steps below.

1) Find any idiom that you wish to draw that hasn't already been drawn.  (These are the ones that are not in blue!)

2) Make certain that you read it carefully and think about exactly what it says!!!

3) Think about how you could best draw this (Funny and unusual drawings are the best)

4) Get a piece of clean, crease free white paper. Make it square! (8 1/2 by 8 1/2 works easily)

5) Draw the picture carefully using pencil or black felt or pencil ( Start light and darken it in later )

6) Words can be used, but DO NOT use the idiom or put it anywhere in the drawing!

7) If you use words, make certain that they can be read easily and are spelled correctly.

8) It is not necessary to colour in the background unless it helps the picture.  Colour the drawing using felts or pencil crayons.  (The brighter the picture, the better it will look)

9) Use a scanner or digital camera to take the highest quality image that your camera or scanner can make. If the image is not of good quality it will not be included in the website.) Save the image a jpg image.  (When you scan it or take a picture of it be careful to take just the picture, not the borders.)

10) Use the idiom as the file name (eg. "a peach" would be called peach.jpg or apeach.jpg)

11) Go to the Guest Book to attach the picture..  You will have to Browse to the location of the picture in your computer.  

(Another way to complete a picture is to use any drawing program and then save it as a .jpg file  and then go to step (11)

Sending the picture to us says that you want to put it on the website, and that you don't mind if other people from around the world can view it and use it for non-commercial purposes. (We will not use this information in anyway except to contact you and will not give your information to anyone else!)

Sometimes people want to use these pictures for commercial purposes. (some pictures have been used in educational brochures, CD covers, a medical research study and even T- Shirts!)

No one can use your picture to make money, without your permission!

If someone wants to use your picture to make money they will contact this website and we will contact you (if we can find you!) 

Your e-mail address would be easiest and safest way for us to contact you, but sometimes you might change e-mail addresses. 

If you change e-mail addresses, let us know or if you wish to, you can send an address for your parents or a phone number, but don't do that without your parent's permission!)

If we can't find you, we can't get your permission to publish it, and you can't make anything from your drawing!
